Saki! Mahjong! Set!

So… budget’s been kinda tough lately because I’ve just came back from Japan…

Problem is, not only where there a bunch of things I wanted to buy over there, but there were a bunch of things I wanted to buy over there, couldn’t, then came back home to buy online.

For instance, this:

The Saki Mahjong Set Ver. 2.0! Don’t ask me why it’s 2.0.

I saw it for sale at the Animate over in Akihabara, but it was already sold out…

Thanks to the magic of the internets and AmiAmi.com, I got my hands on a set.

Seriously most awesome mahjong set/Saki goods evar.

Favorite definitely has to be the Nodocchi Wan suit feat. Etopen:

Sharp-eyed viewers will note that each Etopen is different!

Next up is the Saki Tong suit with little Saki faces:

The 1 Tong is cute, but I’m not so sure about the others…

Then there’s Yuuki’s Tiao suit with… Taco Bird Yuuki for the 1 tile? And the rest of the Tiao are her cat belt thingy or… what else? Tacos.

The Winds and Dragons are all the main characters.

Not sure how they picked the characters, but I’m going to guess by popularity. East is Yuuki (again), South is Hisa, West is Mako, and North is Stealth Momo. White is Mihoko, Green is Flonne Koromo, and Red is Maho (Nodoka’s middle school kouhai).

There’s also 4 season tiles with Saki being Spring, Yuuki (Taco ver.) being Summer, Nodoka being Autumn, and Koromo being Winter. I’ve never heard of these tiles before, but I’m gonna look into it.

There’s also this sheet of pink paper which seems to be Maho explaining all the winning hands.

…so yeah, anybody up for Saki Reach Mahjong?
